Supporters Club
It has been the ambition of many within our club for some time to launch a Supporters Club. Supporters Club activities would include organising buses to away games in the Ulster Bank All Ireland League.We have five games in Dublin and two in Cork this season,with our first away game in Dublin at Anglesea Road versus Old Belvedere at 2.30 p.m. on October 8th .
Return transport would cost €5.00 euro per person exclusive to members only. Stop offs on both legs of the journey will be accomodated.
Other events/activities can include trips to the Aviva Stadium for Six Nations matches and Autumn Internationals {ticket allocation permitting},gatherings in our Club premises and local Garryowen F.C.supporting hostelries to view games of interest with the added attraction of finger food and raffles/draws etc.
Suggestions for a suitable name for the Supporters Club are welcome,something in keeping with the ethos and culture of our Club as are suggestions for additional Club activities.
Now the good news,the cost per season per person:
The price for patrons who normally pay the €10.00 entry fee at home games will be €100.00 for the season,this includes 9 games for the price of 8,the additional €20.00 is for a EXCLUSIVE Supporters Club jacket valued at €70.00.
The price for patrons who normally pay the €5.00 entry fee at home games will be €60.00 for the season,this also includes 9 games for the price of 8 with the additional €20.00 for the EXCLUSIVE Supporters Club jacket.
Travel cost {€5.00 return}and entry fee to away games are not included in the annual membership fee.
This can be our way of supporting our team in what will undoubtedly be a long and arduous campaign,especially at away games.
Other branded Supporters Club clothing can be arranged in time.
A Supporters Club Season Ticket will be issued to all members in a few weeks.
This is our opportunity to get involved in a more meaningful way on match days and have some “craic” on the road as well.
